Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp breadcrumbs
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, mild or hot
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 200 g cheese, Harzer or sheep’s cheese, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Minced steaks filled with cheese

Mix the ground beef with the dough ingredients thoroughly and let it rest for about 30 minutes. Then shape it into a steak weighing about 200g and flatten it with your hand. Place the sliced ​​cheese on one side and fold it over. Then shape it slightly and place it on the preheated grill. Grill directly on each side for about 10 minutes. Serve with ajvar and chopped onions.
