Crunchy Chicken Salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 300 g chicken, cooked, cut into cubes
  • 100 g celery, diced
  • 50 g spring onion(s), cut into rolls
  • 100 g cranberries, dried
  • ½ apple, peeled and diced
  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • 200 g Miracle Whip
  • Sugar
  • Cream or milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chicken salad from North America, delicious on or with bread

Mix the ingredients. Lightly thin Miracle Whip with sugar and a little cream or milk, pour over the salad, and mix well. Let it sit for at least an hour. Serve with baguette. It still tastes great the next day. Tip: I sometimes use a mixture of 150g mayonnaise and a packet of Salatfix mixed with 6 tablespoons of cream as a dressing. Chicken is often leftover from yesterday’s roast chicken.
