Hot chocolate brownie

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s), lightly beaten
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 16 tbsp water, boiling
  • possibly powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

A treat that quickly provides pure enjoyment!

Lightly grease 4 ramekin/ragout fin dishes (approx. 200g capacity). Sift flour, baking powder, and cocoa (1-2 tbsp) into a bowl. Add the sugar. Combine the egg, milk, and melted butter, add, and mix well (if the egg curdles a little in the hot fat, it’s okay; it won’t be noticeable in the baked cakes). Spoon a tablespoon of batter into the dishes (only half, as it will rise considerably). Mix the brown sugar and the remaining cocoa and sprinkle over the batter. Carefully pour 4 tablespoons of boiling water over the back of a spoon onto each cake. Place the dishes on a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until fully risen. If you like, you can do the skewer test, but since it’s delicious served hot, it’s still delicious if some of the batter is still runny, so it’s a matter of taste. Dusted with powdered sugar, serve immediately (or with vanilla ice cream, double cream, caramelized pears or other delicacies).
