Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 cans of baked beans
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • some oil
  • lots of pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  • e.g. chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Beans in the style of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill

First, dice the onion, then sauté it in a pan with oil until lightly translucent. Now add the beans and their liquid, and bring the whole thing to a simmer. Season the whole thing with salt and plenty of pepper (trust me, the pepper does the trick). Then add the oregano and finally the chili powder (you can omit it and use hot or sweet paprika instead. For all you chiliheads, the chili powder is, of course, essential). Simmer for another 5 minutes.
