Beans in tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 2 chili peppers, red
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, chunky
  • lots of pepper, ground
  • Salt
  • e.g. cayenne pepper
  • some vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and dice the onions; wash the chilies and slice them into thin strips. Drain the kidney beans and rinse them with clean water. Heat oil in a large pan. Add the onions and chilies and fry. When the onions are lightly browned, add the tomatoes and season with plenty of pepper and cayenne pepper. Season with salt. Add the kidney beans and let them simmer slightly. Serve with bread.
