Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 25 g chili, dried
  • 3 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp mint
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Tunisian spice paste

You can buy ready-made harissa or make it yourself: Soak the chilies in warm water for 1 hour. Drain and blend them with coriander, mint, salt, garlic, and oil in a food processor or with an immersion blender until a thick paste forms. The amount of oil depends on how thick you want the harissa to be.
