Peach poppy seed cake a la Maja

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 9 tbsp flour
  • 10 tbsp sugar
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 9 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 5 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, mix the flour and baking powder. Then, mix the oil, sugar (including the vanilla sugar), and eggs until the sugar has dissolved. Now add the flour and baking powder mixture and mix everything with a mixer until a dough forms. In the meantime, slice the peaches. Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and distribute the peach slices evenly over the dough. Now scatter the poppy seeds over everything by hand. Place in the oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius and bake for 30 minutes.
