Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 100 g chocolate (milk chocolate)
- 4 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 170 ml oil
- 175 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- Grease for the tray
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
half a quantity of dark chocolate, half a quantity of milk chocolate
Preheat the oven to 160°C to 180°C. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool briefly. In a bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Slowly add the sugar. Beat until the mixture is thick and creamy and the sugar has dissolved. Now stir in the melted chocolate and oil. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Add to the chocolate-egg foam mixture and gently stir (or mix by hand) until a soft dough forms. Grease a baking sheet or baking pan. Pour the batter into the pan to a depth of about 3 cm and smooth it out (a colleague’s tip: if the baking sheet is too large, you can “make” a border out of aluminum foil to separate it accordingly). Bake in the hot oven for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares. Tips: The brownies are also incredibly delicious eaten while still warm with ice cream, whipped cream, and/or sauce (I prefer caramel). Walnuts or similar ingredients are great for refining the batter. If you prefer to use 200 g of dark chocolate, you should increase the sugar content slightly, as these instructions are based on this one combination, and brownies are meant to be sweet.
