Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 125 ml milk
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • Salt
  • 75 g butter
  • ½ pack of yeast
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg(s), the yolk
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Heat the milk with butter in the microwave. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the yeast and transfer to a bowl. Add the flour, egg, and egg yolk and mix with a dough hook for 3 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Grease the donut molds with butter, fill with batter, and smooth it with a damp spatula. Cover and let it rise for another 20 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 15 minutes. Immediately after baking, turn the donuts out of the mold and roll them in cinnamon sugar. Or, once cooled, cover them with icing or chocolate.
