Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg roast beef
- 700 ml juice (cranberry juice)
- 8 cloves garlic
- Salt
- pepper
- Sauce thickener or cornstarch
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Season the beef roast with salt and pepper and sear. Briefly braise the garlic, then deglaze with cranberry juice and let it simmer in a covered pan for about 1.5 hours, depending on the size of the roast. Then thicken the sauce and season to taste. The combination of the sweet and sour cranberry juice and the garlic cloves creates a wonderful flavor. This roast is delicious with mashed potatoes and buttered corn.
