an American recipe for the crockpot (slow cooker)

This recipe is designed for a 6.5 L Crock Pot (CP). Please do not use diet cola. Rub the prepared beef roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and place it in the CP. Arrange the vegetables attractively around the meat near the bottom. Briefly mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the roast. Cover. Cooking time: approximately 8 hours on the lowest setting (not the keep warm setting—in this case, switch to “medium”!). I like to turn the roast an hour before the end of the cooking time, but it’s not necessary. This is one of many ways to prepare a cola roast, but without the legendary instant soup. I think the recipe is very tasty, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
