Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup(s) rice
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 tsp Louisiana seasoning mix
  • 2 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Creole cuisine

Cook rice with the Louisiana seasoning for 20 minutes. Dice the meat, chop the onion, and slice the spring onions into rings. Brown the meat until lightly browned, add the onions and drained rice, and cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Season with salt and fresh black pepper. Variations: Depending on your taste, you can also season the water for the rice with a dash of vegetable broth and add fresh mushrooms to the rice while cooking. A cold beer goes very well with this dish.
