Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg ribs
- 175 g honey
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 5 cm ginger, finely grated
- ½ tsp Tabasco
- 3 tbsp chili sauce
- 2 tsp orange peel, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes
Cut the ribs into pieces. Place them on a large, deep plate. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs. Roll the ribs in the marinade until well coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Drain the ribs. Pour the marinade into a small pan, bring to a boil, and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Brush the ribs with the marinade and bake in the oven for about 50 minutes until golden brown, brushing three or four times with the marinade. Serve with baked potatoes with crème fraîche and a green salad. This recipe is also perfect for barbecue season.
