Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 pinch(s) smoked salt
  • 4 steak(s) , from the pork neck

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat the oil and sauté the onion until translucent. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, and smoked salt. Pat the washed steaks dry and place them in a freezer bag along with the cooled marinade. Squeeze the bag to distribute the marinade evenly over the steaks. Store the tightly sealed bag in the refrigerator and let the steaks marinate for about 3 hours. The steaks taste best when grilled for about 6 minutes per side.
