Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 leaves white cabbage, large
  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 1 bread roll, dry
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Clarified butter
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the cabbage leaves from the heads and boil them in salted water. Stack two leaves on top of each other. Soak the bread roll and squeeze dry. Mix the minced meat with the bread roll, mustard, and a little salt and pepper to form a meat dough and fill the leaves. Press firmly all around and tie with string. Brown well on all sides in hot clarified butter and simmer for 1 hour. Thicken the resulting sauce with 1 cup sour cream and a little flour. I recommend boiled potatoes as a side dish.
