Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g streaky bacon (belly bacon)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 cup milk (large cup)
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dice the bacon and onion. Heat the fat in a pan and fry both until translucent. Whisk together the milk, egg, flour, and marjoram, season with salt and pepper, and add to the pan. Let the mixture set briefly in the pan, then stir thoroughly to prevent it from becoming too thick. Spread the bacon fat on bread while it’s still lukewarm.
