Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g boneless smoked pork chop
  • 400 g pork schnitzel
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • 250 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Grease a casserole dish. Pat the meat dry and cut into equal-sized pieces. Peel, halve, and slice the carrots. Roughly dice the onion. Brown the meat in batches in clarified butter, season, and add to the casserole dish. Sauté the carrots and onion in the meat fat, season, pour in the cream, and add everything to the casserole dish. Mix with the meat. Cover the dish with foil. Braise at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Then cook uncovered for about 10 minutes more.
