Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g pork neck, diced
  • 250 g onion(s), sliced
  • 750 g turnip(s), diced
  • 100 g bacon, streaky, smoked, diced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s), pressed
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Fry the bacon over low heat. Remove and set aside. Brown the meat in the frying fat. Remove. Add oil. Brown the turnips, onions, and garlic in the fat. Add the bacon and meat. Season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Pour in the broth and simmer in a covered pan for 1 hour. Serve with rice.
