Chicken with cashew nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ chicken breast
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 large chili peppers, dried
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 handful of cashew nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the meat diagonally into thin strips. Cut the onion lengthwise into thin strips, the washed spring onions and green parts into 2 cm pieces, and the chili peppers into 3-4 pieces. Heat the oil in a wok over very high heat and fry the chicken for 1-2 minutes. Add the onion, then the chili pepper pieces and stir briefly. Sprinkle with sugar and mix. Now mix the soy sauce and water well, then add the spring onions and nuts. Serve with fragrant rice. Tip: It’s best to make no more than 2 servings at a time in the wok. You can vary the amount of sugar or soy sauce to taste.
