Minced meat and vegetable pan with sesame

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 75g basmati
  • ½ pointed cabbage (approx. 350 g)
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 100 g sugar snap peas
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 150 g minced meat, lean (beef)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • some coriander leaves, fresh, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, trim, and chop the vegetables. Add the rice. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil, then remove. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the pan and fry the minced meat. Season to taste, then remove. Heat another 1 teaspoon of oil and sauté the vegetables (add the cabbage last so it doesn’t overcook). Add the minced meat again. Season with soy sauce and simmer briefly. Finally, add the toasted sesame seeds and fresh, chopped coriander. Arrange everything on plates and serve immediately.
