Smoked pork chop in cream cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg smoked pork cutlet
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 3 small can/n mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup cream cheese spread
  • 1 can pineapple slices, drained

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, braise the smoked pork in a roasting bag for about 1 hour at 180°C – 200°C until nicely browned. Then let the meat cool and slice it. Place the meat slices in a baking dish and arrange the pineapple slices and mushrooms on top. Bring the cream and processed cheese to a boil and pour the liquid over the meat. Now bake for another 45 minutes at 180°C – 200°C. You can serve it with rice, croquettes, fries, or baguette. Tip: I braise the meat the day before so it can marinate in the sauce overnight. Very tasty – just don’t count the calories.
