A time-tested special recipe for a moist, not too sweet Christmas Stollen
Combine all ingredients in order to form a fairly stiff batter. Bake in a well-greased Stollen tin at 175°C (350°F) for about 60 minutes. While the Stollen is still warm, cover it in 2-3 layers with melted butter (brush on) and powdered sugar (sift over it). Wrapped securely in aluminum foil, the Stollen will keep for several weeks (although this is unlikely, as it will surely be eaten very quickly).
