Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g margarine
- 360 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 8 eggs
- 200 g chocolate (block chocolate)
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 g walnuts or almonds, halved
- Cake icing, dark
Instructions

The most delicious chocolate slices ever!
Melt the chocolate block and let it cool slightly. Combine the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Stir the chocolate into the mixture. Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, and nuts and fold into the chocolate mixture. Spread onto a greased or lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (convection oven) for about 30-35 minutes (top/bottom heat: 175°C (conventional oven) for about 35 minutes). Once cooled, decorate the cake with icing and, if desired, walnut halves or almonds. Once the icing has set, cut the cake into slices and serve. A fantastic family recipe.
