- 1 kg potatoes
- ⅛ liter sour cream
- ⅛ liter sweet cream
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- some butter

Original Bavarian – belongs to every snack
First, boil the potatoes with their skins on, while sautéing the onions in melted butter. Peel the potatoes while still hot and press them through a potato ricer or grate them by hand. Add the sautéed diced onions and sour and sweet cream. Mix everything together, ideally by hand. Finally, season the mixture with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
