Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 veal escalopes
- salt, pepper
- ¼ liter sour cream, up to 1/2 liter
- 3 anchovy fillets, chopped
- 1 tbsp capers
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
We like to use a little more anchovies and capers. For garnish: anchovies, tomato slices, 1 sliced hard-boiled egg, or 1 fried egg. Wipe the schnitzel with a damp cloth, dust with flour, and fry in hot oil until light brown on both sides. Sprinkle the chopped anchovies over the schnitzel, pour over the seasoned cream mixed with capers, and let it simmer, covered, at a low temperature. Simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes. Arrange the schnitzel on a hot plate and garnish with the listed ingredients. Serve with boiled potatoes.
