Swabian cabbage fritters

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 600 g flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 pinches of salt
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 onions
  • Fat
  • 500 g ham
  • 2 cans of sauerkraut
  • 250 ml broth
  • some cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a pasta dough from flour, eggs, salt, and water. Sauté the onions with fat and ham in a pan, season to taste, and let cool. Meanwhile, roll out two thin sheets of dough, cover with the cabbage filling, roll up, and cut into approximately 4 cm wide pieces. Place cut-side down in the greased baking dish. Pour in the broth. Cover and bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius (fan oven) for about 30 minutes. Then brush with cream and bake again with the dish uncovered.
