Chicken Breast Curry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Ginger, 2 cm
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • ⅛ liter chicken broth
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp coriander
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 150 g yogurt
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion, garlic, and ginger and finely dice everything. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper and fry in a large pot in oil for 1 minute on each side. Remove the fillets from the pot and reduce the heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger. Add the spices and sauté. Add the stock and bring everything to a boil. Mix the yogurt with the cream and stir in. Add the chicken breast fillets and their juices, cover, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Serve with rice and a green salad.
