Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 cup(s) flour, 2.5 cups sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup orange soda (Fanta or yellow sparkling water)
  • 3 large eggs (alternatively 4 small eggs)
  • 3 m.-sized apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the flour and baking powder, then simply mix with all the other ingredients in a bowl. Peel the apples, cut them into 1.5-2 cm pieces, and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Fold most of the pieces into the batter. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the batter on top. Now distribute the remaining apple pieces on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175-200°C for about 15-20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. Tip: The basic batter also works well as a muffin base and can be refined with chocolate sprinkles.
