Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 pretzels, old
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • Thyme
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Mix the pretzel cubes with the egg yolk, cream, and spices. Let stand for 1 hour. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Line approximately 35 cm of aluminum foil with plastic wrap. Place the mixture on top and roll up. Twist the sides together like sausage ends, pierce several times with a needle, and let stand in boiling water for about 40 minutes. Untwist and cut into slices.
