Super easy, super delicious!

Cream the room-temperature margarine or butter with the brown sugar until fluffy. One at a time, add the eggs, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and flour with the baking powder and knead everything into a dough. Spread the dough into a greased springform pan. Peel and quarter the apples, score them three or four times on top with a knife, and press them, scored side up, into the dough. Sprinkle the almond slivers over the dough. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about one hour. Tip: I like to add chopped walnuts to the dough.
