Franconian Klopse

The perfect franconian klopse recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Potatoes
  • 400 g Franconian bratwurst raw
  • 1 cups Cream
  • 4 Onion
  • 3 Toes Garlic
  • 0,5 bunch Chives, parsley
  • Salt, pepper, paprika
  1. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into cubes and cook for about 10 minutes. Peel, halve and slice the onions and garlic.
  2. Press out the sausage meat and fry small dumplings in the pan with a little oil. Add the onions, garlic and potatoes and fry them.
  3. Pour in the cream and approx. 1 cup of water and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Finally, sprinkle with chopped parsley and cut salmon rolls.
