Baked foil potato slices

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 potatoes (jacketed potatoes), from the previous day
  • 6 slices of cheese (Chester)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Spice(s), e.g. paprika powder, oregano, basil, chili flakes, thyme, rosemary
  • some butter flakes
  • some olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Recycling leftovers

Cut the day-old potatoes into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Place the potato slices in the pan and season with a knob of butter, salt, and pepper. Then sprinkle each slice with paprika, oregano, basil, chili flakes, thyme, or rosemary. Place 1/2 slice of Chester cheese on each potato slice and cook in the pan with the lid on over low heat until the cheese has melted.
