Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,400 g applesauce

  • 120 g raw cane sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup millet, ground = 180 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours

gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, vegan

Place applesauce in a deep mixing bowl, add the blue poppy seeds and millet, season with sugar and salt, and mix well. Pour into a 26 cm ring pan lined with baking paper, shake or smooth it down. Place in a cold oven and bake at approximately 150°C for approximately 90-100 minutes*, using a needle test. Even after cooling, let stand for several hours; the millet needs more time to set. Cooking time: approximately 60-80 minutes, depending on how long the poppy seeds need to be ground. Since I baked several cakes and breads at the same time, the baking time was a bit longer.
