Berry oat casserole

Spread the love

Ingredients for 9 servings:

  • 450 g oat flakes
  • 500 g berries of your choice (e.g. raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
  • 600 ml milk
  • 300 ml water
  • 750 g quark or skyr
  • 2 tbsp, heaped vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Thaw the berries completely or rinse and drain. Grind two-thirds of the oats in a blender until coarsely ground, then grind the remaining 1/3 briefly to retain its texture. Combine all ingredients except the berries in a bowl and pour into a prepared baking dish. Arrange the berries on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 190-200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 35 minutes, depending on the desired browning. If the berries, such as raspberries, make it too tart, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar to serve.
