Chocolate semolina porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 40 g semolina, preferably durum wheat semolina
  • 10 g butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp, levelled cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Chocolate shavings as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 9 minutes

Briefly rinse a pot with cold water, but do not dry the inside. Pour the milk into the pot, add all the other ingredients, and bring to a boil while stirring with a whisk. Then reduce the heat slightly and continue stirring for about 3-4 minutes, or until the desired consistency is reached. Ladle into bowls, sprinkle with chocolate shavings, and serve with something like compote or applesauce. White chocolate shavings look particularly decorative.
