Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • some oil for the loaf pan
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 stalk(s) spring onion(s), young
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 fresh ginger, grated (finger-length)
  • some red curry paste
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. cream, cooking cream 15%

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with grated ginger and garlic

Clean the spring onions and slice them into rings, including the green parts. Peel and grate about a thumb-sized piece of ginger, as well as the garlic. Now place the minced meat and all the other ingredients in a bowl and knead thoroughly. Pour the dough into a loaf pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the minced meat on the middle rack for about 30 minutes. For the sauce, drain some of the cooking juices into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Season generously with red curry paste, add a little water, and reduce to a simmer. Then, add a little tomato paste and cooking cream to finish.
