Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 40 g cocoa powder, not drinking cocoa like Kaba
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200g Nutella
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 500 g pudding, chocolate, ready-made product or home-cooked
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
In a bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt on high speed until creamy. Gradually add the eggs until light and fluffy. Add the nougat spread along with the chocolate pudding and continue beating. Carefully fold in the flour, which has been mixed with the baking powder and cocoa powder (do not overbeat, as otherwise the mixture will lose its airiness). Now pour the mixture into a well-greased springform pan. Place the springform pan in the preheated oven, on the middle rack, and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven) for about 35-45 minutes. Please be careful, as every oven heats differently; be sure to do the skewer test after 35 minutes. If the batter sticks to the skewer, continue baking. The cake is only done when the batter no longer sticks to the skewer. I always bake it for just under 30 minutes, leave it in the oven with the oven off for another 10 minutes, and then take it out. If you don’t like your cake too sweet, you can reduce the sugar content. The cake is light and moist and stays fresh for a long time!
