Crostini with goat's cheese, pear and walnut

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of ciabatta or baguette
  • 4 tbsp, heaped goat’s cheese
  • ½ pear(s), approx.
  • 6 walnut halves
  • some arugula

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Toast the walnut halves in a dry pan until fragrant. Let cool and break roughly. Toast the bread in a toaster or under the broiler until crispy. Quarter the pear and remove the core. Cut into thin slices lengthwise or crosswise. Spread the bread slices thickly with goat cheese, top with arugula and pear slices, and scatter the walnuts on top. Serve immediately to prevent the pears from browning.
