Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of ciabatta or baguette
  • 4 tbsp, heaped goat’s cheese
  • 4 large strawberries, approx.
  • 6 basil leaves, approx.
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, approx.
  • 1 tsp honey, liquid, approx.
  • n. B. Pepper, mixed, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

In a small bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar and honey together well. Mix the sliced ​​strawberries and striped basil leaves with the marinade and let it sit for a moment. Meanwhile, toast the bread in a toaster or under the broiler. Spread each slice generously with goat’s cheese and top with the marinated strawberries. Sprinkle with some coarsely ground pepper and/or fresh basil, if desired.
