Tagliatelle with truffles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta, possibly spelt tagliatelle pasta
  • salt water
  • ½ garlic clove(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 25 g truffles, fresh
  • some basil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Rub a pan with the garlic clove. Grate the truffle into shavings and set aside. Add the butter and a few truffle shavings to the pan and heat gently. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the pasta water. Add the pasta to the pan, stir thoroughly, and season with salt. If the mixture is still too dry, add a little more of the cooking water. Cut the basil into strips. Divide the truffle pasta between two plates and scatter the basil strips and remaining truffle shavings over the top. Serve immediately.
