  • 75 g oat flakes, fine or coarse
  • 25 g fruit, unsweetened or 10 g almond flakes
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

suitable for oat days, vegan

Suitable fruits include unsweetened fresh or frozen berries, kiwi, apricot, or other low-fructose fruit. Heat the water and stir in the oats. Adjust the amount of water according to your preference; 300 ml achieves a mushy consistency. Chop 25 g of low-carb fruit into small pieces or toast 10 g of flaked almonds in a pan without fat. Stir the ingredients into the oats. If desired, refine with a pinch of cinnamon; avoid using sweetener if possible. I like a combination of both components best: 5 g of almonds for the crunch and 12 g of fruit create a delicious nutty, fruity flavor with a roasted aroma.
