Chicken and lemon pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 4 large onions
  • 125 ml lemon juice
  • 125 ml oil
  • 150 ml water
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 bunch basil or parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and quarter the potatoes, peel and slice the onions, and peel and mash the garlic. Mix the lemon juice with oil and water and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Rub the marinade well into the chicken thighs. Brush a pan with 3 tablespoons of the marinade and place the chicken thighs in it. Place in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Add the garlic to the remaining marinade and toss the potatoes and onions in it. The 30 minutes are up; now add the potatoes and onions to the chicken thighs and the remaining marinade. Return everything to the oven for about 40 minutes, by which time everything should be cooked through. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped basil.
