Ingredients for 15 servings:

  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 100 g onion(s), finely chopped
  • 100 g bell pepper, cut into strips, frozen
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 250 g corn, ground
  • 50 g amaranth, ground
  • 50 g brown rice, ground
  • 1 tsp black cumin, ground
  • 8 peppercorns, ground
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 4 cl Balsamic vinegar de Modena
  • 2 cl soy sauce (tamari)
  • 200 ml water, up to 300 ml
  • Salt
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Briefly roast the sunflower seeds and turmeric in a hot, dry pan. Briefly roast the onion in the hot oil, then add the bell pepper strips. Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the sunflower seeds, vegetables, tamari, and balsamic vinegar. Then stir in the water. If it’s too thin, add a little more ground grain. Season to taste, adding salt if necessary. Form small balls with wet hands, flatten, and fry in the hot oil on both sides. My own recipe.
