Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,000 g asparagus, green
- 300 g Parmesan cheese
- 1 bulb(s) garlic
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 3 tbsp rapeseed oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Asparagus gratinata
Wash the asparagus, pat dry, and peel the bottom third. Finely grate the Parmesan cheese. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel and halve the garlic. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat and lightly roast the garlic (not too brown, or it will become bitter!). Then add the asparagus and roast. Season everything with salt and pepper, transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. This dish is suitable as a starter or main course and a wonderful side dish to grilled dishes.
