Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 ciabatta
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 g butter, soft
- 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
- some salt and pepper, black

Preheat oven to 190°C. Slash the bread 2.5 cm apart, but do not cut all the way through. Peel and halve the garlic. Brush the slashes in the bread with the garlic halves. Rub the surface of the bread with garlic. Then press the garlic through. Mix the butter, garlic, parsley, and cheese well in a bowl and season. Spread the butter mixture evenly into the slashes in the bread. Place the bread on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, until the bread is warm and the cheese has melted into the butter mixture. Serve with tomato salad.
