Beef fillet from the charcoal grill

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beef fillet(s)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 21 minutes

Cut steaks approximately 4 cm thick from the beef fillet and let them warm to room temperature. Allow the charcoal to glow, then grill the fillet over high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. Wrap the steaks individually in aluminum foil and let them rest for 10 minutes. After unwrapping, season with salt and pepper. Serve with fresh baguette, herb butter, and salad.
