Mozzarella in spicy dip

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ball(s) of mozzarella or 1 pack of mini mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or chili oil, or 2 tbsp if needed
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 chili pepper(s), dried or fresh
  • some basil leaves
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Crush the garlic clove, chop the basil leaves, and chop the chili pepper. If you’re using really hot chili oil, you can skip this. Blend all ingredients until a paste forms. Don’t be too sparing with salt and seasoning; the paste needs to have a good kick. Arrange the mozzarella slices and spread the paste on top. Garnish with some basil, if desired.
