Baked feta cheese on cucumbers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g mild sheep’s cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • Oregano, shredded
  • 10 tbsp oil
  • 14 olives, black
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the cucumber into thin slices. Arrange on plates. Finely dice the onion. Grate half of the lemon zest, thinly peel the other half, and cut into fine strips (zest). Squeeze the lemon. Whisk with the grated lemon zest, salt, pepper, oregano, diced onion, and 4 tablespoons of oil. Pour over the cucumber slices. Dice the cheese. Beat the egg with pepper. Finely chop the garlic and add. Coat the cheese cubes first in the egg, then in the oatmeal. Heat the remaining oil and fry the cheese cubes until golden brown. Drain and arrange on top of the cucumber slices. Garnish with the lemon zest, olives, and paprika.
