Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g cheese (halloumi)
- ½ melon(s) (cantaloupe melon)
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- some olive oil for frying

Cut the halloumi widthwise into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices and fry in a folding grill or pan with a little olive oil until golden brown. Wash the lettuce, tear it into bite-sized pieces, and toss with vinegar, 8 tablespoons of oil, and the salt. Use a peeler to cut wafer-thin strips of melon. First, arrange the lettuce on a plate and then top with the halloumi and melon.
