Tomato salad with soft cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g soft cheese, e.g. Géramont
  • 4 vine tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 2 pinches of herbal salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seed oil
  • 2 tbsp fruit sauce (blackberry sauce, see my recipe in the database)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Slice the soft cheese. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and thinly slice the tomatoes. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings. Arrange the tomatoes, cheese, and onion rings on two plates and season with herb salt and pepper. Wash the basil leaves, shake dry, and pick them off, then arrange them on the plates. Finally, drizzle the pumpkin seed oil over the tomatoes. Drizzle the blackberry sauce over the cheese.
